Cefn Caer Interior
In situe are a Dias partition, Screen's passage, 14th century ingle nook with double stone arch bread oven, 15th century ingle nook with insertion of a 17th century bread oven. Ordate doorhead idntical with those of the dias partition that leads to the cellar.
A further striking aspect of Cefn Caer as a hall house is the oriel projecting to the right of the dias partition. The remarkable 1526 fine chequerboard ceiling shows that this wonderful hall house retained its high gentry status in later days, but the outline of this fin pre-reformation hall house is clear enough.
